Refund policy
Inspection of Orders
Customers are advised to inspect their products upon delivery or collection. Returns and refunds may not be accepted should the items not have been inspected by the customer within the given time period.
If an item appears damaged or defective on arrival, customers must notify Hobby Island within 48 hours by emailing:
Customers may be asked to provide photographs or video evidence of the defect.
Defective or Damaged Products
If a product is defective, damaged, or not functioning as intended, the customer may return the item.
Hobby Island may choose to:
1. repair the product
2. replace the product
3. refund the purchase price
depending on the circumstances and within reason. Damage caused by misuse or mishandling of the product will not be refunded. It is at the sole discretion of Hobby Island to determine the validity of the refund.
Incorrect Items Supplied
If the incorrect product was supplied, Hobby Island will arrange replacement or refund.
Misuse or Customer Damage
Refunds or replacements will not be granted where damage results from:
1. misuse of the product
2. failure to follow instructions
3. physical force or tampering
4. normal wear and tear
5. accidental damage caused by the customer
Return Process
To request a return please email:
Returns must be approved before items are shipped back.
Where a return is approved, Hobby Island will provide instructions for returning the product.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 8 hours of placing the order if the order has not yet been processed or shipped.
