Customer’s Terms & Conditions

Payments and Orders
1.) All the pre-orders and/or orders are exclusively accepted via electronic
mail.
2.) All pre-orders / orders require a deposit of no less than 30% of the total
order amount. All deposits must be paid in full by cash or by Electronic
Funds Transfer (EFT) to Hobby Island’s nominated bank account.
Deposit amount could be subjected to change by Hobby Island.
3.) All deposits received by Hobby Island by customers are non-refundable
and no exchanges will be allowed once Hobby Island has received any
deposits. Deposit amount could be subjected to change by Hobby Island.
4.) Hobby Island will confirm the receipt of the deposit before issuing the
Sales Order as confirmation of the order. No sales order shall mean that
the order has not yet been confirmed, and is subject to change or be
cancelled due to stock availability or other circumstances which may
arise.
5.) Goods shall only be released once Hobby Island has received and
confirmed that payment in full has been released and as such no goods
shall be released prior to the aforementioned confirmation.
6.) The product release date is just “Estimate”, the actual release date could be
subjected to change without further notice.
7.) Despite the above, and only if it is deemed by Hobby Island that it has
become impossible for Hobby Island to deliver the stock, will refunds be
returned to the customer. Hobby Island reserves the right to cancel any
order based on impossibility to deliver at any date prior to the stock
arriving in Johannesburg.

8.) The only acceptable payment methods, albeit for deposits or final
payments in full, will be cash deposit or Electronic Fund Transfer (“EFT”)
Kindly note that that stock will only be released once the payment reflect
in the bank account of Hobby Island.
9.) No stock shall be stored at the premises of Hobby Island on behalf of any
customer despite Hobby Island having received a deposit for the stock.
Should a customer fail to timeously make payment in full, alternatively
collect the stock, Hobby Island reserves the right to sell the goods to a
willing buyer within 7 days of non-payment, alternatively non-collection.
Further, please note all stock is limited and will not be kept or placed in
reserve if no deposit was paid.
10.) All amounts as quoted include shipment fees from Hong Kong to
Johannesburg only. Should customers require that goods are shipped to
areas outside of Johannesburg, they will be liable for the costs
associated with same. The customers further herewith indemnifies Hobby
Island against any damages or loss which it may suffer solely caused by
the conduct of the courier service alternatively the chosen or agreed
delivery service.
11.) The full outstanding balance must be paid no later than 5 working days
from the date of arrival of the stock at Hobby Island, we do not accept any
late payments and Hobby Island reserves the right to forfeit all the paid deposits.
Customers
1.) Customers are advised to open and check every single piece of their
collected stock prior to removing the stock from the premises of Hobby
Island. Hobby Island will not take any responsibility for any damages or
any parts missing once the stock has been removed from its premises
and will not be held liable for any damages the customer may have
suffered due to the stock being damaged or incomplete.
2.) Hobby Island will only advise on an estimated stock arrival date to
Johannesburg for customers and the stock list for the retailers. Hobby
Island will not take any responsibility for any late shipment or late arrival.
3.) Hobby Island will not take any responsibility for any third party products
which weren’t supplied directly to the customer by Hobby Island.
4.) The deposit for all the pre-order items must be paid and confirmed by
Hobby Island no later than 3 working days from the pre-order dead-line
date. Prices will be changed subject to confirm by Hobby Island
afterwards.

5.) Any alterations to these terms and conditions will be forwarded to
customers via email, and should no objection be filed by customers within
24 hours of dispatch of such terms and condition, it shall be deemed to
have been accepted.
GENERAL
1.) Should any dispute arise between Hobby Island and a customer, the
decision of Hobby Island will be final and binding on the parties.
2.) The terms and conditions as set out in this document will be of force and
effect retrospectively on all order which may currently are placed with
Hobby Island from the date on which same is dispatched.
